How to get back into trading after a Break – Part 1

trading

I’ve just return from my marriage and three week honey-moon in a remote island called Ithaca at Greece.

Everything I love about it tiny island is all thatthere are traditional Greek taverns, food, together with picturesque shores and perspectives which we just see from paintings.

With the minimal internet access, in the period I what is forex trading have not managed to exchange the markets at all.

If you’re going to take a break or you’ve just came back getting back into trading can be a real challenge.

Today, I’m going to share with you my guidelines I use to get into trading after a long holiday.

Measure #1: Meet up with the Major market
Start using the main index.

If your watch list includes the top 30 stocks listed on the JSE, then you would want to first start the JSE All Share 40 index graph (Al Si ).

In your own Meta Trader 4 platform, you are going to observe that the Al Si as’SA40Fut.a’.

You’ll then examine the price-action of this graph to learn how it moved as you were away.

Make note of and identify the marketplace environment the Al Si endured and then ask your self this critical question.

“What trading environment is your Al Si currently in and which way is it even more likely to go from here?”

There are three trading classes that the marketplace can proceed.

Bull marketplace — The ALSI is at a uptrend
Bear marketplace — The ALSI is at a downtrend
Sideways market — The Al Si is in a sideways trend
Let us see all 3 scenarios therefore that you know what things to look out for next time.

The Bull-market
By 23 June 2016 up until 1 December 20 17, was the last time the Al Si was in a Bull market revealing greater highs with a powerful uptrend.

The Al-Si subsequently broke below into…

The Bear Market
By 1 December 2017 before 2-4 April 2018, the JSE then experienced a Bear Market showing lower highs and with the robust downtrend.

The industry then broke over the downtrend stepping into a congestion period also referred to as…

The Sideways Market
Since March 2018 upward’till today, the Al Si has been doing a sideways market.

Side note:Fortunately, I moved away when I did so. As a breakout dealer, I just trade at direction of this break out. Thus whenever the ALSI breaks out of the back market, that’s when I can expect to get back into trading.

It’s very important see the way the most important index transferred while you were off. This way it’s possible to catch up to everything you may expect to exchange in the future.
